Functional Data Analysis for Climate Change Research
As we confront increasingly severe challenges posed by climate change, we recognize the critical importance of in-depth environmental data analysis. However, traditional data analysis methods face various challenges when dealing with functional data, including accurately detecting outliers, conducting effective classification and clustering analyses, and establishing precise predictive models.
In response to these challenges, our research endeavors to harness the potential of functional data by developing innovative analytical approaches. By improving outlier detection, classification, clustering, and prediction methodologies, we aim to unlock valuable insights into climate change dynamics. We aspire to contribute to a more resilient and sustainable future through interdisciplinary collaboration and advanced techniques.
