DR MICHELLE LIOU is a research fellow. She received her PhD degree in psychometrics and applied statistics from the University of Pittsburgh. Her current research work is developing statistical methods for analyzing fMRI data, and conducting EEG and fMRI experiments on Chinese/English sentence processing, real-life sounds, and switching between functional states. Her research interests include dynamic pathways of attention, memory and emotional systems in the brain.
